is the carpet black...it looks lighter like it could be gray from the photos, i cant tell if its washed out from the flash or bright sun that makes it look gray...my 07 has plain floor mats i see the 08 has the bar and shield floor mats..i can only hope they are black

i think i'd call it more of a dark charcoal color, not gray as it looks here but i hestitate to say truly pitch black. these photos do make it look MUCH lighter than it actually is! i'll see if i can snap some better ones today and get them posted...

all the HD's have the same shade of carpet, its called black but depending on the lighting, flash, etc. it can look a little gray.

just noticed the bar and shield floormats though!! they are OEM? if so i GOTTA get a set!!!!!!!

finally got the chrome letters on over the copper stripe, pix are in my gallery. i think it looks good but i'm not really used to it yet so it's a little weird, what do ya'all think?

sparky that looks hot. can u take a pic of the whole side view of the truck? i just wanna see how it all looks... chrome w/ stripe... i think i might do what you did and leave the stripe on w/ the letters

whole side views for you dsm and some close ups to show how they align with the stripe (the "O" is the hardest, the chrome letter is slightly "flatter" than the one on the strip) and a picture or 2 of the tint job i just had done on the front windows this morning!!

as far as applying the chrome letters goes, it wasn't that bad, took me less than 1/2 an hour to do both sides, they line up nice and easy! just be careful with the first few especially, those suckers stick as soon as they make contact! i had a hard time with the "O" and had to "pry" it off twice to realign it and that was without pressing it on, just setting it there!
