my buddy wiped out on his bike today, 07 gsxr1000.
dislocated his shoulder (popped out in back!) and pretty scraped up. He's had 2 surgeries on that shoulder and it's what got him out of the navy years ago. Pretty facked up.

Anyhow, he calls me and asks me to pick up his bike, since he's gotta go to the hospital. I get there, and realize that it is going to be impossible to get the bike in the truck. 1 1/2 hours of sitting on the side of the road making sure the bike doesn't get stolen, a buddy finally makes it out with ramps and helps me load it up.

My friend who wiped out is a madman. The bike shouldn't even be on the street, it's got race plastics (no lights, mirrors, lic. plate) and a racing tire out back (this is 10am in december for a quick breakfast run - COLD tires!). He's the guy who you'll see at the track with a generator and tire warmers

Anyhow, the only reason I am telling this story is so I can post whore and put up a self-gratifying driveway shot.

driveway shot looks pretty cool though haha. but stories like this is what keeps my mod money going into the HD, instead of getting a bike!

yeha, the guy grew up on bikes, and now wants to sell the bike. His harley was stolen during the fire evacuations, which is a total bummer. The only thing stock on that harley was the frame, everything else was 100% custom. Hell, even the frame was modded in the rear to accept the fat tire.

now he doesn't know what to do, no hobbies to pursue. I should persuade him to get into trucks.....

sad thing is he knew exactly what he was doing, but he actually believes he's invincible. that's a deadly combination when you just don't give a fack lol.

the bike really isn't too bad, broke off the gear shifter, clutch reservoir, left hande thingy, and scrapes across the whole left side. frame slider saved most of it.
