Truck is going!!!!

My 2000 will be gone tomorrow. I was looking through our local paper and saw a 2002 Harley truck at a dealer here in town. It is a black 2002 with just under 36K miles. They were asking 23,999 and then when we started to deal the price went to 24,999. They supposedly made a mistake. I didn't have my truck, but they appraised it sight unseen. They wanted 13,500 difference, I started to walk out. I counter offered 8500. I told them that it would cost me money to add the 3rd rear seat for the 3 kids. He came back saying 11,900 and he would give me 500 back to buy the seat. I told him 10,300 with the 500 back. Finally agreed on 10,500 with 500 cash back. It has a few scratches and the seats are showing some wear (not bad though). Some one put in an aftermarket stereo which I would like to get rid of. Have no idea of the build number as someone removed the plaque.

now quick when they arent looking swap the lower grilles so you can keep the OEM chrome lower and put it on the 02! lol

So you got decent for you '00 then...whats the mileage on it? I would like a '02/03 but most I see are not as clean as my 165k '00. I'm super picky about interior/exterior. Most people that own black vehicles don't take good care of them. That and leather interiors.....

lol well that opinion may vary! haha, but you definately made out with a nice upgrade getting to keep the majority of your mods, and get a blown crew cab for a pretty damn good price.

dsblk, you've got a rare bird on your hand, a 00 that pristine with so many miles, too bad its not like the old trucks, drive it a few thousand more miles and let the odometer click over back to 0 and you could sell it at like 20-30K and the condition of the truck seem right for that few miles! haha
