    Changes in XM/Sirius?

I have looked through the old threads on Sirius and XM here, and have found that in 2005, people commented on XM having better sound quality than Sirius. I am trying to choose between the 2 right now, so I was wondering if Sirius has remedied this problem? Excellent sound quality is a must for me. I will be hard wiring the XM/Sirius directly into my head unit for this reason.

Which would you guys go with right now? BTW, I listen primarily to new rock and classic rock.

I have Sirius and its great, CD quality, if you do the FM deal get the hardwire cable, its worth it.
I chose Sirius cuz the offer a lifetime subscrition and XM dosent plus I like the programing a little better on dogstar.

Well I've been listening to Sirius over the internet lately, and I like it. Thanks for the advice as always guys, I'll be buying Sirius for the truck very soon.

Anyone have any pics of some trick install of the unit? There is no way I will be sticking it on my dashboard with those suction cups, I want a show quality install.

Thats one of the reasons I have not purchased Sirius, but I did see a box you can hide, like the Ipod adapter, all you need to do is run the antena up to the dash.

I currently have the Sirius 1 reciever, its the size of a small radar det. I have it up by my overhead console cliped to the headliner so you dont see it unless your looking for it.
There really cheap, think I paid $30 for it last year. Im still trying to figure a way to hide the Stiletto I have coming for Xmas.

Yeah, the problem is that my Pioneer unit cannot be hooked up with just the antenna, to go through the head unit, so I needed to buy the whole deal. Now I am just looking for a nice clean install of the Sirius head unit to look clean. I got the Sportster 5 (color screen) so I think it could look really nice if it's done right.

Sorry to bring this back up, but has anyone ever activated two radios at once with sirius? I want to get it for my wife's car and for the HD. I am looking to pay the $399 lifetime subscription and looking to get a deal on the 2nd one. Do you guys suggest the lifetime or pay by month, year?
