Just contemplating. Really want a project from ground up. If I do that, the X has to go.

Just admit it, what you really mean is buying another DSG HD and putting a built motor in it.

    LOL

If you are going with a F-100 let me know. I know the ins and outs of the 53 - 56 models (I have had 5 in the past) one of them blown. I have a 56 in the driveway as I type that will be getting a double over head cam 5.4 lincoln motor. I also have a buddy that has a 56 with a "L" motor in it. My next project will be a 53 - 56, with a small block blown motor, no modular motors for me just do not look right in that huge engine bay.

Let me know if I can help

You and I talked briefly about this before. You can be sure I'll be coming to you with questions. ;)

Right now I'm just doing some research. This will be my first project and I'm probably getting in over my head.

Naw, this is an easy project and I will keep you ontrack if needed. Those truck are so simple, I can teach you all the in & outs on them in a matter of days.

The one we have here came home in 2 trailers and my truck, after 4 hours we had it so together that it will take one car trailer to get it home. There was a nice 56 on ebay for a real low price that was very workable last week. Let me know and I will go with you to look at them for I know all the rust spots and what are the hard to find parts or not, I also have a friend in Culver city that has lots of parts

Woody, who worked for Adams can also do a clinic here that day as well for those who may have forgotten what to do.

I got nothing to install on the commuter. Probably never will. But I'm still in to give a hand and sling some $hit.
