Same here, only one truck tho. 3 more years and it'll be mine. But I will say my folks have helped me alot with other stuff. Thats the only way I can afford a truck that cost twice what I make in a year. Not too mention the insurance, fuel, and mods, paid for by me.

Nice truck Harley350. Nice bike too. Both look great.
Truck looks good without the stripe. Flames would be sweet, but IMO for what these trucks cost, dont just slap some decal flames on it.

I allways thought my son's flames were a decal sticker but after a closer look I found they are painted on so I don't think I will be getting any flames, like you said, slapping on a set of decal flames would not be the right thing to do. However, the Harley Davidson 4X4 decal on the truck bed is a sticker so maybe thats all I will add or maybe not.

the 05-06-07 HD SD trucks had the "ghost" flames painted on with a wet-on-wet process.

all the other HD trucks stripes/flames were pinstripes though. as long as its tastefully done, there's nothign wrong with that IMO. Obviously paint looks way better, but the flame stripes dont look out of place, and for 60 bucks for a set, can't go wrong, if you dont like them, its not a big investment lost.

Dunne's stuff is top notch. Matches the 02 style OEM stripes perfectly. Mine's the blue ones in the rear, the front one is cdillons OEM 02 stripes

First thing I did was remove the stripe around the top, just found it too much for me. If theres one thing I have to get use to it would be the ride is a little stiff compared to what I'm use to but still not bad for a 350 truck.

Thanks for allowing me to tag along. Hope to make many new friends.

Ok, I have a quick question and sorry to hijack but what do you guys use to get the decals off without messing up the paint job?

when I removed my OEM 00 stripes I just waited til a warm day with the truck in the sun...started at one corner, got it started with my finger nail, then slowly peeled it back at a 180* angle to the paint and they came off no problemo. I was actually surprised how smoothly it went for the decals being 7-1/2 years old and parked outside 24/7/365

Yeah, I hate advertising for any stealership so I want to get the sticker off of my mustang. The one on the truck was a badge and it hadn't been on long enough to adhere very well. I just grabbed the corner and the whole thing popped off but there is a sticker on the mustang and I want to get it off!
