Imagine a 12" subwoofer only 2" thick

If that is the case I will be looking in the future in doing the cabin wall with two 12" woofer's and going with a third row seat.

...However, given the mounting depth and the smallish airspace these JL's need, it would probably be easier for an installer to build a box to fit in or replace the cabin wall that could hold a couple of these subwoofers.

That would be nice, but would probably be very expensive too.
