You guessed it, it's that time again to recognize another NHTOC Family and thier ride with the Dubious Honor of NHTOC TOTM! We go this time to the far reaches of the Northwest! NHTOC is proud to present this recognition for the month of March to member #405, Ryan (HiDef03) Brien and his outstanding 2003 TwoTone #07716! Ryan has been a member since June of 2005, and although a man of little words, his truck speaks volumes for him! Not many members have seen this truck but, this rarely seen, immaculately and tastefully modded 03 Two-Tone definitely ranks right up there with the best and extremely deserving for this month's TOTM recognition!
Congrats Ryan on a Job Well Done!
Now onto the stuff you guys are always interested in......................
Question # 1: What sparked your interests in the Harley trucks?
Specifically your HD Truck?
I was having lunch one day with my wife and brother in law and saw a 03 2-tone drive by and fell in love the second I saw it. I had never seen anything like it and didn’t even know what it was.
Question # 2: Any interesting stories behind the history of vehicles
you've owned leading up to the HD truck or how you got it?
When I was in High School I had a Pontiac Grand AM that that was pretty fast and I drove like a racecar. My parents eventually caught on to my antics and made me trade it in for a 93 Ford Ranger which was really slow. After I got married I discovered the Harley truck I took it for a test drive. The minute I heard the whine of the supercharger and fast acceleration I was hooked.
My wife bought it for me because she’s the most amazing person in the world. She told me to say that, but it is true. She’s pretty awesome.
Question # 3: Give me a rough list of the mods that have been done to your truck. I know you've got a lot done, so you can just list your favorites if you'd like!

Question # 4: Tell us a little about yourself. Your other hobbies, your job, your favorite past time, whatever!
I’m 27 years old and live in Monroe Washington. In the summer I spend majority of my free time at the lake wakeboarding and wakesurfing with my wife and friends. In the winter I love to snowmobile. I have a Polaris Vertical Escape and I get pretty wild climbing and jumping just about anything. I also took up snowboarding this year to help stay in shape for wakeboarding. My other main hobby also happens to be my career. I’m the Media Director at my church (Rock Church | Monroe, WA | Jeff & Melinda Knight | Sundays 9 & 11am) where I do all things media with my main area of expertise being video editing and motion graphics.
Question # 5: You've been a member on the site for a while now, what is one of the best things you like about the site that keeps you around?
Of course it’s always cool seeing what other people are doing to their trucks. I also appreciate how many people are continually there to help each other out whether its with their truck or saying a prayer for a fellow member going to through a difficult situation. Quality people sharing a common interest I think sums it up best.
Question # 6: What is one suggestion to help make the site a better place?
Can’t think of anything. Pretty sweet as is.
Question # 7:
This is where I normally ask about where you decided on your screen name and any specific reason for choosing it?
Being that I’m a video guy and into High Definition everything, and that I have an 03 HD truck I just combined the two into Hi-Def03.
Question # 8: Almost at the end, what is in the future for your truck?, so what’s the next plan of attack for your trucks future?!
Right now I’m just trying to keep it clean during the winter months.
Question 9: Last and final question, just an open end question for if you had anything else you wanted to mention that I didn't have a question for...here's the place to go at it! Your web site link, a plug for something, etc. etc. whatever you want to throw in!
Big thanks to Lee Randall for recruiting me to the site and helping me install a bunch of my mods. I’m not mechanical nor do I have the guts to wrench on my truck on my own, he’s been a great help.
