    Remove wax from plastics

I searched around But I couldn't find any info on this:

I'm doing a repolish and rewax of adams on my truck this week, and in some places it's hard to keep off the plastics. Is there any way to remove wax from the plastic and rubber? I tried mineral spirits but that just smeared it. Adams In&Out is just a temporary fix. You guys know any thing other than having to tape off all my plastics? :P
    Thanks

back to black is just a temporary coverup, and I've never had good luck with it, always streaked down the sides once it got wet no matter how little I tried to put on.
peanut butter works well as a temp coverup too.

for a permanent fix, mr. clean eraser, or a big pink eraser works well.

or better yet, for a REAL permanent fix, sand the plastic piece down and PAINT it! lol

As a professional detailer for over 20 yrs, that eraser works well but you should try automagic vinyl die stuff is awesome go's on easy dries quick wont fade run or crack ever go to automagic.com it is what I use on old waxed faded out plastic and vinyl.
