    Oil Filter Required

    Help! having had no joy on the old e-bay site who supplies oil filters in the uk for an 02 hd supercrew, ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

    Tony,

    Try your basic Ford Dealer mate. The oil filter from an Explorer or even Mondeo is the same item and fits with no problems......Also a lot cheaper than shipping one in.

    Yep, the V6 Mondeo has the same filter.
    The number is FL820S on the filter itself.

    filter found now its the oil thats the issue?

    hi.all again, according to the manual i need to use 5w20 engine oil, however the foerd dealer does not stock it? they say 5w30 is ok ?

    any advice please.

    5/30w won't hurt it but you can find 5/20 at specialist motorfactors.

    I use Kendall fully synth 5w/20 in mine and get it from US Autocare in Norfolk.
    Call them on 01493 752152 and ask for Mally. He will ship it wherever and take credit cards over the phone,
