How to Install Boost Sensor for Areoforce

Okay I read and read about what to tap what not to tap and everthing in betweeen. I hope this help those that have not done this yet. Let me first thank Ilaybrick for a little insight on how to do this mod. Once you get the "kit" from areoforce you will need to take a trip to the hardware store and automotive store. In addition to the kit you will need
    1) 1/8X 5/32 90* vaccum fitting(NAPA)
    2) abour 4 feet of white "THHN" 12 gauge wire multi strand (NOT SOLID)(LOWES)
    3) 12 gauge ringe terminal.(Napa)
    4) 12 gauge small covered connector(Napa)
    5) 1/4 wire loom(Napa)
    6) I had a old vaccum line but you may need to buy a new one(Napa)
    7) wire "t" taps for 12 gauge wire (Lowes)
    8)"T" vaccum line(for boost bypass)Napa

Okay to start out mount the Boost Map senor to the fire wall directly to the left of the brake booster.

Next you need to add about 4 feet of white wire to the white wire on the supplied 3 pin pig tail. This can be done with a T splice.

Run the wire through the rubber gasket next to the brake booster.

Once through connect a sealed connector to the outiside terminal post of the areofrece gauge.

Next take the black wire and add a ring terminal and connect it to the bracket that holds the throttle body bracket.

Once that is done find the brown with a white stripe line that connects to all the EGR valve stuff. There should be three lines. Either outside lines carries 5 volts. I chose the bottom line for it to hide a little more. strip back the electrical tape about 4 inches.

Put a "t"tap one that wire take the red wireand run your brown and white wire to the T tape. Squeeze it together.

Once that is done your are complete with the electrical.
The LAST THING you want to do is connect the supplied 3 pin connector to the boost sensor. (Leaving this connector in the sensor and hooking up the RED wire first WILL DESTROY the sensor.

As for the vaccum line I had a old vac line that I added a 1/8 x 5/32 to and connected it to the boost by pass with a T converter. If you do not have the boost by pass just connect it to the black capped of line by the brake booster.

Follow the instructions on how to set your boost gauge for the proper altitude.

After it is all done put some wire loom around the wire

    Nice wite-up!

Why didn't you use the cable that comes with the gauge to make your connection? There is a 3 pin header cable included.

Change the setting for your Analog 1 to boost/vac.
