    Front end PROBLEM

I was drivin last night when all of the sudden my front end got really loose and I had to turn the wheel a 1/4 turn to the left just to keep it straight. Its still under warranty with only 6k miles but I'm pissed, any suggestions on the problem blown shock?? or something more serious?? the truck has not hit any potholes or curbs, very weird the way that it happened

Let me know what they say, because mine did the samething last night. To be honest I wasnt just driving. I hammered down from a stop light to do a burn out and the rear end started hopping and when I let out of if my steering wheel was a 1/4 turn out.

Will do, I've been under mine all weekend and I can't find anything loose so i'm really worried about it.

Just got the truck back from the dealer, they said that all they had to do was realign the front end and some caster & camber shims, but that doesn't make sense with how it happened. I think that by saying nothing else was wrong with it they were able to charge me for the alignment. Anyways the trucks back and drivin good.

Well I didnt drive my truck after it happened on Saturday. When I pulled in the driveway I had a buddy turn the wheels back and forth aggresively from stop to stop and then let the truck sit until this morning when I was going to take it into the dealer. When I started down the road this morning it wasnt nearly as bad as Saturday. They steering wheel was barely out of square. Weird...

It sounds to me like some shims fell out of the uper control arm and the camber caster adjustment went aray!

thats an odd problem, no steering components were broken?

when I actually get the tires to peel (AWD), its usually in the rain and I get bad wheel hop too... gah these things are too heavy and real dogs... need me a s/c sometime soon...

that's probably what happened since they didn't have to fix anything other than the alignment.
