    ok it is time

when I called and checked on my truck while on vacation I was told I had a wheel that was leaking
so today when I got back I took it to a tire shop and I was told I will soon need to change my wheels as the green slime is eating away at the chrome inside

so what I need to know is where is the place you guy's are getting your replacment wheels be it 20's (stock) or 22's upgrade
I hear so many of you saying you are running 22 repop's and the 20's replacment wheels from FORD are $2000.00 Ea it looks like I may be going with aftermarket if I can't find a deal on factorys
    I am wanting to run 295 45 20's instead of the 275's
but if I go to 22's I need to know what size to run to get the same effect

I tried a couple times to get a couple "extra" from these folks. They never confirmed whether or not the center-cap was included. Further, they never responded to multiple inquiries regarding availability and/or shipping.

It's a shame the trucks never took off. They are a good group to deal with. I live 10 miles from them. When I wanted something for my Mustang, I could go over and pick it up. I became friends with some of the guys that worked there.
They still do a huge business with stang parts.

ok heres the plan I will buy two wheels next month then add 2 new 295 45 20 tires for the rear and take my good wheel off the rear and replace the leaking wheel on the front with it for now and then later replace the other two wheels and tires and save one as a spare and sell the other three CHEAP ......

Sounds like a plan. I put 295 45 20's on my Truck last summer. They do look good.

If your wheels are still in nice shape but will need re-chroming, might want to consider "black-chrome".

I got one that leaks and one that is bent , if it was outside chrome that was peeling I might concider having them powdercoated black with red trim lines
but it is the inside that is the problem
