Let's plan a gtg date

Ok guys I'm throwing it out there as far as a date and a place for a gtg. I think the best time to try to do this is after July 4th weekend. My wife is in Charlotte and I'm still here in SoFla, but if we come up with a dat for a gtg I can make the drive up to be there. I'm not familiar with all of the NC/SC member locations but I know along with Charlotte we have Asheville, Raleigh and Sumter, SC. I know there are others out there and hopefully they'll chime in but obviously we want to try to make this as convenient to everyone as possible. We will also need to determine if this gtg will be a mod gtg. If so, we'll need a place that will be able to accomodate our trucks. So I think first we need to pick a date. For me I'd prefer anything in the weekend after 7/12.

I grew up in Asheville, so as far as I know, Charlotte is the most central!!

So tell that school boy to but down the books and make the trip, but be sure to slap a five on wwldman and his new '08 for me!!

Well I guess what needs to happen is a date needs to be picked and a location needs to be decided on. Unfortunately for the next year we have an apartment in Charlotte so we won't be able to have any gtg's at my place. It'd be nice to have some Charlotte area peeps speak up...or am I the only one?

Don't forget thatuntil my house sells I'm still a resident. And from the looks of things I'll be a resident for a long time to come.

Im over an hour away. There is a shop that works on Harleys and Lightings in downtown Charlotte just a couple of blocks from the Panthers stadium. The shop name is Dynamic Autoworks and his shop has hosted a couple gtg.

Well that might be a good start. We now need to pick a date that we think we want this to happen. Like I said in the intial post, The best dates for me will have to start with the weekend of the 18/19th of July. Anything after that will work as well.

I'm in Monroe which is SE of Charlotte about 35-50 minutes. Guess I might be able to get up to Charlotte again. Maybe do the Buffalo Wild Wing thing along with or instead of Dynamic?
