the pistons on the 2V motors hold up fine, but the rods are powdered junk once you turn the power up. heads and cams are a very labor intensive mod, and while it will make good power on a stock bottom end, you're really pushing your luck on popping it, and when it blows all that money in labor spent to do heads and cams is all down the drain. better off doing a twin screw blower on the stock block, and saving up that head & cam money for when you do a full built motor and save an easy $1,500 in labor
