I have a Bullydog and on the stock wheels and tires saw 15mpgs consistent with the middle (performance) tune.

Surely there is a better one out there though...

Your foot will determine your gas mileage. Seriously... that is the ultimate factor.

For diesels, that's gotta be the best one on the market!!

But of course you can do all the obvious things that we tend to forget about... Proper tire pressure, regular filter mantinence, and good fuel!
Then (like I always say) mod it!! Seriously, air filter, exaust, ect.

    Good luck.

So this is what i am thinking now...
Banks Six Gun with Speed Loader
Air Raid Intake or AFE intake stage 2
Tornado Fuel Saver insert...lol $6.99 so i will try it for that!
I like the harley exhaust so i guess i will keep it?????

What else can i do to increase the fuel economy??

17-18 mpg is probably the best on this site. Do a search for mileage. There was a thread where everybody chimed in with mileage they get. Pretty much every super duty had a programmer and there wasn't a single one in the 20's. Most around 15-17.

Best way to increase you mileage to somethng respectable is buy a smart car...LOL

    Good luck

I can speak to the subject. My '05 & '07 I had superchips tuners that were worth about 5 MPG. I had, with emphasis on had, A SCT for my '08 and it did NOTHING for MPG, I'd get 13 @ best. A buddy here has an '08 that we put a superchip tuner on and he gets 18 MPG.

Johnny lightning tells me that he has a tune / exhaust setup that is giving him 15 MPG towing 14K.
