    Exclamation Cheap Wheel/Tires

I sold my OE H-D wheels/tires WAY too cheap! ... sold the set (wheels/tires/caps/lugs/locks) for $2,200. Found out from a mutual acquaintance that the guy I sold 'em to absolutely wanted the OE wheels (not cheapo asian replicas) and was preparing to pay as much as $5-grand! Why? ... come to find out ... new OE wheels (only) from the dealer are $1,174.60 each!!

should of looked into before selling em! I can't believe somebody would pay 5 grand for em though. I'd get 22" reps amd they are probably just as good. I did that on 17" Cobra rims on my Stang and they are flawless. Its been over a year and they are actually better quality then our HD stock rims!

This is very true. This is the ballpark amount that insurance companies use if they have to replace your wheels and tires.

While having the oil changed, the mechanic at the Ford dealer happen to nick my right front wheel. The service writer ordered a new wheel and tire and was priced at $1,130 from Ford. But it was all under the shop's warranty

Nice, i've had to replace 2 rims, i think the $1,174.60 is what mom was told from some dealerships, and some places were cheaper. I tried talking them into getting 22s but no luck! I can get 22s for as much as one OEM 20! Then i gotta get the rubber!

If you got the 2,000 out of the rims than you did good....that is a fair price for the tires and rims. Personally I paid $1600 for my 02 take offs. I have seen them go as cheap as $1250 w/ wheels and tires. Mine were BRAND NEW...still had the green stickers on them from the factory. If you look around at some of the other ford truck sites you will see what I mean.

Although they may cost that much from the dealer, you would have to be a fool to pay that much.
