    blowed a plug out of head last night

    seems to have stripped
    anyone else had this problem
    on a 03 F150 HD

    02's and early 03's have that problem because they have 4 thread heads in mid-03 Ford switched to 8 thread heads. A lot of people just install treaded inserts. Sorry for your problem and I hope you get her back up and running soon. If you do some searches here you can even find a how-to (I think).

    At our shop we use Time-set spark plug repair kit for Ford Tritons Part # 5553 . They come with instructions. It's not too bad but kinda sucks. Hope this helps.
