    If you can lay fiberglass you can lay C/F...the only thing is keeping the air bubbles out so you can show off that beautiful mat.

    Hoods are nice but does anybody know if anyone makes a CF bed? tailgate?, fenders? I want to knock some weight off this baby.

    Is the Carbon Fiber hood lighter than a stock hood ?
    The stock hood is very light .

    In most cases no, in order for a carbon fiber hood to be lighter than the stock aluminum hood, it would have to be a “race” quality hood and that means no fiberglass backing or hood latch.

    At best you will find a C/F hood that weighs close to the same as stock.
