'03 Sits Higher in Rear?

I've read anecdotal info that says the '03 HD sits about an inch higher in the rear because the springs were uprated for more load capacity. I think this has been confirmed on the Lightning, but does anyone know positively that this is the case on the '03 HD? This would be good info for '03 owners to know, since the rated drop of the various suspension kits would be changed if the '03 indeed sits higher in the rear than the '02.

62 yes the rear leaf springs on the HD & L were revised for more payload in '03 why? because the average owner was a whimp & wanted to carry some payload.. LOL JOKE...

anyway... the rear of the 10 '03's I ahve measured is indeed .75-1.25" HIGHER than an '02... I guess that is still ancedotal (sp)

Grondforce is the only company that has addressed the '03 versus '02 difference directly...

this pisses me off, as this info came late, i just used belltech shacles that are 2 inches and they are not enough..now i have to redo them

I feel for ya man.... I did the bell tech crap 3 times before selling off at a loss to get the Hotchkis.... I learned my lesson...
