    Welcome!
I am running the Hankook tires and love them. So far. Put maybe 10K miles on them and got them in 06.

welcome 02Hrley03. most guys have gone up to 295/45/20's for a bit more sidewall. also depends if you have a drop. then there's the entire wheel / tire upgrade to 22 HD replica rims. they look sweeeeeet!!!

Toyo Proxe's here as well and love them!

Can't really go wrong with Toyos or Hankooks, everybody seems to love them both. I just went toyo because I liked the slightly more aggressive tread pattern.

And definitely step up to 295/45/20's. Huge improvement in ride quality, more rim protection, and fills up the wheel wells a tiny bit more for a lower visual appearance.

What modifications do I need to do to move up to 295/45R20's ? I really like the ride and handling now, although I know it would look alot better lowered down a couple of inches in the rear.

if you still have the stock ride height, get some JLP 2-3-4 rear shackles to dial in the rear drop and IMO you can keep the stock front ride height. you should have no rubbing issues with the 295's all around. for prices, go to the tire rack ad on this site or try one of the other tire places. some of the better prices might be on tireseasy.com, or may be Costco, or Sams or just see if a local tire dealer near you can match the best price you can find.
Toyo's Proxes are pry the best bang for the $$. but there are plenty manuf. out there that make that size.

Johnny Lightning Performance is a supporting vendor here. Check out his website, there is a link in the vendor section. With the shackles on the 4" setting, shock extenders are probably a good idea. Bell tech makes a set that fit well.

You can only get 2-3-4" shackles from JLP, nobody else makes anything over 2". Even the JLP's on the 4" setting only lower the rear to 3" over stock.

For shocks, its a great idea to change them. The stock ones are so soft and crappy, you'll be AMAZED at the difference in the trucks handling with a set of bilsteins from the L installed.

I am going to call JLP in the morning and order the Shackles.I am going to take all of your helpful advice and go with the 295's also.I am going to look around for the best tire prices now that I know the size I'm going with.I still have bumper to bumper warranty on the truck for another year,so I did not want to make any major changes until the warranty runs out. Thanks for all of the great info.
