The answer to where in the world is FEPONY???

So I know alot of you have been curious where Fep has been. Well, besides the FL boys and some others who found out about my project and got on the email chain, here is the story, as Fep has now authorized me to inform everyone.

Fep's truck after his track days he posted up wasn't running right still. A/F bouncing from 13-20 at idle, even after warming up and the rear end was spinning one wheel and not the other.

Well after all that the truck had gone through, Fep had enough and didn't know what to do. So that is why he was gone from all the boards and basically out of contact.

Well since I found out this information, I couldn't just sit back and do nothing, so an email chain was started and a list compiled of who could do what, money, parts, time, etc...

Thank you to everyone who responded and wanted to donate to the cause. To our surprise and very thankfully, during the first diagnosis of the truck, it is not only diagnosed, but fixed.

I just want to give a big thanks to everyone who got involved on fixing the truck with me. Especially to Stew. Stew stopped by Mike's house yesterday and today on his way from CA to SC. We had arranged for this surprise visit so someone who is wrench savy could do a diagnosis to see what was wrong and to allow me to determine how much time, money, etc. was going to be needed.

Well, STEW IS THE MAN. As of now and after 6+ hours of work on Feps truck, it is running great and Fep is a kid in a candy store again. Stew said the truck was able to go on the street and lay down some serious rubber...burn outs up to 120mph and back down...tearing around town, etc... and all is good. Rear end is spinning both wheels and A/F is reading exactly where it should be.

Being part of a community like this, where everyone is willing to help out everyone else is great. This could not have been done without the support of everyone who was involved and I just want to say from Me and I know from Fepony as well, a big

    THANK YOU

    Matt

Truck threw a code about TPS and MAF. Stew said he tore it down and checked all Vacuum lines and connections. Did some data logging, replaced a missing vacuum line plug, checked the lines (routing and all), reset the MAF and a lot more.

Stew said once he gets to his dad's place tonight around 5pm or so, he is going to post up with more details than I have...I was having trouble hearing him on the phone.

Glad to hear everything is up and running again, and Mike is doing well. Kind of worried there. Can't believe everything he went through at a reputable shop, and 5 hrs with Stew is all that was needed. Way to go Stew!!! The East Coast boys are going to be extremely grateful you moved.

Stew is the man and we are lucky to have in in our club. I also want to give props to Matt (Oki916) who took the initiative to get in touch with all of us and kept us informed every step of the way.

I am happy to hear Fep is tearing it up and I look forward to seeing him on the boards again.

    Great job Stew & Matt
