    Thumbs down California Registration!!

Hey guys, just wanted to get an idea of what us Cali guys are paying for registration. I just received my first renewal today and I nearly fell over when I saw how much. $729 frickin dollars man!! I mean I have a $30 vehicle licensing fee and $80 vehicle weight fee! WTF!!! When I first bought my truck I paid $360 total for registration, so what gives now. Please tell me that I'm not the only one paying this much in cali. Did they pass that bill to "double vehicle registration"?

    Just venting

No, you're wrong. Actually they are tripling the registration fee.

I got lucky. My registration fell before the new "I'm gonna tax you up the arse" tax went into place.

With candidates like Schwargenegger, Gary Coleman, Larry Flynnt, etc. this is like picking the lesser of several evils.

Throw all these guys together and Davis doesn't look that bad.

My vote's going to Ueberroth. He's the only one I've hear that makes any sense.

There's been talk of this vehicle registration being repealed, but only time will tell. I think it's still gonna be higher than what we've been paying regardless of who wins.

Between gas prices, and vehicle registration, Californians are really getting screwed.

We're gettin' majorly screwed, my neighbor just got his renewal today for his 01 S Crew 4x4 and it doubled from 301 last year to $609 this year, yikes......... I paid 234.00 in May when I bought my 01 HD S crew, so it looks like I'll be paying about 450 next year..................... Friggin sucks.
