Do you already have the pump? just crawl under the truck and you can spot it right behind and up from the Heat exchanger. IF you must pay someone, it shouldn't be more than $20- $50 in labor, esp. if you help out ( with a cold brew or some food.)

There is a great write up in the how-to section by Bigstew on how to clean your IC pump. There is no reason you couldn't use it to install yours.

+1, maybe that's all you need to do. remove the original, take it apart and clean it. no need to replace. save $$

You will be contacted by a guy from Ford Truck World "HeavyAssualt" that is going to get info from you to help you out. If anything, I am sure that my Dad will be monitoring to make sure all goes well. So if you get a phone call from a guy named "Slick", that is my dad.

There is a good group of guys up there, that my Dad meets up with on the regular for some GTG's. I am sure it will be handled without any issues once you get the new pump.
