What's a good car alarm to buy?

Hey guys! I've been looking to get a car alarm for my 04 Lightning...I was wondering if you guys could recommend some good sites? Normally my boyfriend took care of all my car parts and stuff, but we just broke...which is part of the reason I'm getting an alarm...hes a crazy stalker!!...Anyways, I found some new car alarms on this website, I was wondering if it seemed like a good deal or not? Has anyone ever purchased from them before. I've never bought parts online before and have like no idea what I'm doing. Does anyone know what brand I should buy? Or where I should buy from? Thanks a ton guy!!

    Love
    Heather

DEI is the company that owns most of the major brands, Viper, Clifford, Python, etc. Pretty much all their stuff is good, and just depends how much you want to spend on an alarm for what features you can get.

Most places that install alarms won't install them unless you purchase it from them, so best bet is find a reputable installer, go there and talk to them about what you want and what you can spend, and see what they have to offer. If its a DEI brand product you're pretty safe and sound. I've heard good stuff about Autopage as well.

AutoPage RS1000 here and I can tell you I love it!

Great system with lots of options and a true 1 mile paging range.

exactly! either way your probably not going to want to install it yourself. so find a shop near you, that you like and trust and talk to them about it. More then likely depending on the one you want your going to need other parts such as bypass pieces etc.

and i also second DEI products.
