Get yourself some EZ Detailer...spray it on and then take a micro fiber cloth to buff it out
EZD do much for polishing though? Since its non abrasive there's not really any cutting action.
I use Mothers Billet polish on the chrome. Gets rid of any dull spots and water spots very easily. Especially on chrome. Then throw a few coats of zaino on top so next time the stuff just wipes off with quick detailer. Once in a while between zaino coats I will hit it with some EZD.
You may wish to try NevrDull or something a little more aggressive Eagle One Chrome and Wire cleaner and some 0000 steel wool.
Yepper steel wool, I've been using 0000 steel wool on my Harley chrome for years without a single scratch.
Or you could try

Neverdull is good stuff as well. Makes getting tar and stuff off cake work. If I use never dull, I usually follow up with mothers billet polish
+1 on the 0000 steel wool. I use that on the inside of my wheels and it gets all of the caked on brake dust and tar off. I also use Harley Brite to polish up the chrome bits. Many years agao I used to use a product called semichrome which worked awesome but I don't think they sell that anymore.
just went out and used neverdull worked like a charme......now there is a very lil tad streak of rust on it what do i need to do to get that off thanks for everyones help....guess thats what these boards are for huh
I use Turtle Wax Chrome polish to remove light rust spots on the exhaust tips and various chrome pieces on our boat and car and it works pretty well.
not yet i want to pick some up though that is my next step
I was of the understanding that billet polish is not good for chrome? Mothers specifically recommends NOT using it on chrome.
Nerf bars are aluminum? ... mine are'nt!
I had some rust starting in the corners of where the mounting brackets are welded to the nerf tube. Used #0000 wool with Simichrome and it came off pretty easy. BTW, Simichrome is good on all metals ... chrome, brass, aluminum, gold, pewter, stainless, copper, and (they say) silver ... but I have found that it is not so good to use on silver! Best to use silver polish for silver!
