scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner and no dirt roads
Leave it parked in the garage. LOL.
Simple Green diluted 50/50 sprayed on a cool engine, let it set for about 2-5 min (don't let it dry) then spray it off with low pressure/ High volume water. That will take off the grime then shine it up with some Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray
On my truck, to wash the engine bay, simple green does the job perfectly...
...to keep it looking as good as the simple green left it, that will be Vinylex.
There used to be a sticky on it for a nice writeup I had done, but I guess a certain SV had to impose their opinion over us and got rid of the sticky since it didn't recommend their stuff, even though their underhood spray easily could have been substituted in for the Vinylex I'll have to dig it up again.
Pulled this off my old links: is this the one?

just dug up and stickied that one about 30 mins ago lol
I found using Simple Green to clean (as above) then Black Magic 2-in-1 engine shine and then Vinylex on the plastic covers, hoses etc. does a pretty good job!
Come on folks post some pics.
thanks for the response so it looks like put a lil baggy over altenator and intake filter.....spray down with purple power, or simple green Then spray some of this vinylex on it which i am having a hard time finding where can i find that stuff at
I get the Black Magic 2-in-1 engine shine and Vinylex at Auto Zone
yep vinylex can be found at most auto parts stores. comes in a greenish spray bottle. Usually next to Lexol leather stuff
