1st off....wrong forum....i won't delete it this time even though dwight made an announcement on posting in the wrong forum, i'll move it for ya to help you out here.
1st question i have...did you mix the ZFX with Polish? or are you just trying to put ZFX on the truck right out of that tiny tiny bottle?
Assuming you did mix it with polish (3-5 drops per ounce) and if you are just starting to polish, the applicator pad is probably bone dry and wants to absorb the polish quicker than it'll stick on the paint.
A quick tip is to wet the applicator pad with water then ring it out really well. then spray it real quick with some Z6. Now the applicator will be barely damp, but its enough that it won't just absorb all the polish you put on it, and more of the polish will stick to the paint. Once you get going though and get a panel or two done, the pad will for the most part stop absorbing alot of polish and most of it will be going onto the truck instead of into the pad
I can do my whole truck with one ounce of polish, sometimes less. The 1st time is the hardest until you get used to using the stuff. After you get it down its a breeze to put on and it should just wipe off.....hardly any buffing required
