Another newbie from Ontario Canada
Hello to all,
Purchased a one-owner black 02 in May and have only been monitoring the site until now, so thought I should finally wade in. I bought it with 60,000 km (45k miles) and am up to 72,000 km already. She's stock except for lowering shackles, Yoko Parada's and A.R.E tonneau. Needed a truck and was looking at 06 FX-4's, but after seeing this one I thought why not travel in style. This is my daily driver for now, so unfortunately have no option but to drive it this winter (and the roads are messy up here then). I do have 18" winter steelies with proper snows but would appreciate any advice on operating/protecting it over the winter months. Considering removing the nerfs for a start.
Thanks,

welcome to the site! We got a good number of canadian guys on here
Keep a good coat of wax on the truck, and just be careful driving of course, and it'll do just fine

Thanks russp. They do use a lot of salt around here but not the boulders like in Alberta. When I used to travel to Calgary years ago, every vehicle in our company's Alberta fleet always had a cracked windshield, so I know what you mean.
