There was a lot of money out there today. It was fun to get out there and see these cars run. From the sound of some of the guys, it wasn't a big turnout compared to past events. Torrie was supposed to be there but according to Cdillon, he was having car issues. The HD F-750 was cool especially with the girl driving it!!! You can tell alot of the people out there had no idea how to launch there cars from the starting line. But overall it was a nice afternoon. It was good to see Mario and his family as well as meeting Chris' father. Hope we can do it again soon.

I was looking for you buddy but I figured you were on duty. I don't know how that works because the airstrip is technically in Collier county and there was a Collier county sheriff on duty but a Miami-Dade fire rescue.Originally Posted by huot5

I just found out a little something from a buddy of mine earlier today. About 3 quarters of the way down there is a picture of a White Porsche that was racing. My buddy knows this guy and says that this car makes about 1400hp !!The last time he entered this race, his speed was 216 mph and it's his DAILY DRIVER!!!! Now yesterday he was having problems hooking up and he almost lost control, but one of the runs that car did when I was there was 179 mph and I could here him let up before the mile ended. My friend said he drove this car to do an event similiar in to this one in Texas and he ran 226 mph. Wow!!

But yea, that run when he was squirley for about the first 1/8mi, let off, then slideways again about half track!!! Too cool!

No, that one was from Michagin. If the guy your talking about was there, we would have had a smackdown!! That fuktard, John, raped us on the work he did to the Cobra and we finally had problems with EVERY piece that he installed and have had to replace all of it.
