I dont like armor all. I use adams products for the dash(leather conditioner or vrt). There is also Vinelyx(sp?) you can get from the local parts shop.

armor all is pretty horrible, anything silicon based will pull the moisture out of the dash, I'd rather have the plastic in good condition than a sticky greasy shine over the top of it.

I use simple green diluted, approx. 1 part simple green to 15 parts water

I use Meguirs products all round, they aren't the cheapest but they all seem to do what it says on the packet!

Armorall is horrible for ANYTHING they make dash crap, tire goo, stay away from it all!

Vinylex is one of the best products to use for your dash and plastics. Like mentioned above, its not silicone based, its water based, so its a low gloss sheen, not a high glare shine, it just restores the dash to looking brand new again and protects it. Also it DRIES to the touch 100%, so its not greasy or attracting dirt & dust. Its also available at most parts stores. 303 Aerospace protectant is another one, little more expensive and a little harder to find than vinylex, but another top notch vinyl product.

You can try Marine stores as well. Vinylex I can find pretty easily here but I can only find 303 protectant at places like West Marine. I used to use 303 on my Miata's convertible top when I had it and it worked great.

yeah Vinylex is a little harder to find, but it seems like usually the good stuff is a bit harder to find, since the stores can sell the cheap chit easier and stock it more readily.

Summit Racing sells 303, so I order a bottle every now and then when I'm ordering other parts from Summit.
