    Mine is getting really weak, I have to push in 2-3 times to get it to pop out.

    I may go the SCREW route too , thanks for the pics guys ---

    I think the part I love the most is how when an old thread gets resurrected newer folks can benefit. Both alwayscode390 and SR81 both joined after this thread originally was posted and by me tagging it they see it and can both benefit.

    I pulled everything out hwne I arrived at work this morning and if I can find some screws I am set for a lunchtime repair.

    This thread and your post was extremely helpful. In less than 5min I had the cup holder out, drilled two pilot holes and screwed the spring back on. All is good again!

    Sorry Shawn. The shipping guy said "Just checking to make sure you dudn't leave anything in here" and pushed on it a bit too hard and I heard the spring go tingle tingle down behind the dash!
