WTF with the Ground Force 9944??

Cheapest i can find is $1300.
Mcgaughys 97012 + CBRK is the same thing minus the shocks $550

    I could of swore when I did a 9944 on a 04screw it was only about $700.

    Anyone see a 9944 cheaper?

even on ebay? Is that for the 4" drop leafs or the flip kit? the 4" leafs alone do not give it a real dropped look, but another member here combined them with drop shackles & that really did the trick. IMO, that's a better route. I did the flip kit, don't regret it cuz the roads in my area are pretty good, but the other mod is a bit better.

Yea... I'm starting to lean towards DJM 2.5" Arms in the front, DJM 5" Flip in the rear with Belltech Nitro Drop Shocks. $700 shipped. What kit did you go with?

stay away from belltech nitro drop shocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure if bilsteins offer a shock for you gen 2 HD F150 guys, but the nitro drop shocks are some of the crappiest out there for the gen 1's and I'm sure they're no different in your case!

I went with GF 9933 (2/5 front springs/ rear shocks, rear flip kit) which IIRC paid like $650+ thru Summit & Hellwig rear sway 7663. Here's a pic when it first went on back in Sep 2007

I checked summit, the 9944 kit brings leafs..the big difference in price. it's a 2/4 ...add drop shackles and you can get the 5 inch drop.

Well after racking my brain for about 3 days I think I gonna go with Mcgaughys 2/4 97012 (coils, leafs, shock ext.). I figured I needed the carrier bearing relocation kit, but when I looked under the truck I see a one piece aluminum drive shaft...NICE!! Is that part of the Harley Package or a Saleen thing?? I really wanted to go 2/5 or 3/5 but sometimes I do need to haul or tow so 2/4 I think is the best fit for me. I like the GF 9944 but cant see for the life of me why its $1300. That's $800 more than the McG kit and the only difference is GF comes with 4 shocks.

i think the two piece drive shaft died in 2006 for all f150s...not positive but pretty sure...i did the eibach coil and leaf...i added a front camber kit...not needed but the shop said if i added it he would give me lifetime allignment, i did not he would only do a 30 day alignment...it was done at 4 wheel parts in houston...they do alot of jacked up trucks and said that the kit keeps the front end straight and true...i run no bump stops in the back and no bottoming out and the alignment is dead on after 3 years(well july makes 3 years)...if you have the tow package you should have a 1 inch spacer block that can be removed and with a 4 inch leaf....the block removed will give you 5 drop off of the stock

Remember you get what you pay for. I learned the hard way.

EDIT: Here's a link to pics of my truck with the Mcgaughy's 2/4 drop...Lots of Mods!! 56K Beware! It's the forth pic down.
Did you have the lifting blocks out too with the McG leafs? Looks way high still.

I was looking over your post. You said you did a DJM Flip and Hangers which is there 4" drop. Did you get 5" total from stock because of no lift block.

I guess my question is, because I have the lift block, will:
    a 4" Flip kit really be a 5" drop
a 5" flip kit will really be a 6" drop

Well I got bored today and decided to take out the lift blocks. It lowers the truck exactly 3/4", Now I have a nice starting point for measurements.
