Good deal man. Mine has the belltech 4-6 drop and I really like it. Not the best ride but very bearable, I drove from Oklahoma City down to Arlington for a Rangers game with my wife and she diddnt whine one time, So it must not be too bad.

are you sure thats a 4/6 and not a 2/4? I don't even think belltech makes a 4/6 kit. The only way to get it that low up front is springs and control arms or springs and spindles, and out back you either need a flip kit, or shackles, hangers, and leafs. You certainly tuck the tires a bit more on a 4/6. And a c-notch is an absolute must have or you're axle is riding on the frame rails, literally.

Lol, as far as I know. It was done before I got thetruck, Thats what I was told. I had to go get new shocks and some other crap because the guy at the Hibdon tire in Oklahoma city told me **** was wrong with it, Had to get Bump stops and somethin else, Not 100 percent what bump stops are but I said ok man. Not sure what a c-notch is or if its there. Could be somethin else, I was kinda goin unknown off of what I was told when I bought it???

yeah I'd say its a 2/4. I'll try to dig up a pic of a truck with a 4/6. They're SLAMMED, like ridiculously low lol.

bumpstops are what keeps the axle from just hitting the frame rail. stock bumpstops with a 2/4 drop the truck rides on teh bumpstops lol. So installing shorter ones gives some ride quality back. Also belltech shocks are junk, which is probably what was on there and needed replacing

No experience on tinting. But would consider doing it myself or compairing shop cost to getting a smoked aftermarket similar to this -Recon Accessories: Part # 264122BK - SMOKED Ford F150 97-03. I've heard of some who used model car tinting on theirs, but haven't actually seen it. You can also check the classifieds on sites like The National Lightning Owners Club (NLOC), used ones occasionally show up.

If you measure the front and rear height from center wheel to bottom of fender flares and post it, we could verify the actual drop.

    lol maybe your buddy's 2/4 was actually a 0/2

Really though, a 2/4 pretty much eliminates wheel well gap. At most i'd say yours would be a 3/5, but a 4/6 is friggin slammed on the ground! I'll try to dig up those pics

*edit* here ya go....this is pics of a 4/6 drop kit
    http://www.nhtoc.com/vbforum/suspens...-drop-22s.html

They're 22's, but the rear tires he has are the same overall diameter as our stock tires. So you can see if you had a 4/6, your rear tires would be several inches into the fender well tucking. And his fronts are shorter than our front tires on 20's, and he's still tucking up front! 4/6 is crazy low lol

Your pic looks like you've got 1/2" or less of fender gap above the tire, which is pretty much where a 2/4 drop puts the suspension

Good googley moogely!! Ok so thats obviously not whats on my truck. And thank god because the Oklahoma farm roads would eat me up. That looks awesome but just crazy low. In person the front tires actually look about even with the wheel wells, But its not tucked at all. So new question, How do I keep the inside of the tires from wearing so much sooner than the rest of the tire?? Dude, I just thread jacked this guy and I feel like a butthead.

haha told ya 4/6 was low!

If you're eating the inside of the tires, the alignment isn't right. You'd have to check if camber bolts are installed. If not you'll have to install them, and if they are, then you can check the alighment, but you may be maxed out on camber. If you're going through tires fast, you're better off redoing the front drop to have spindles instead of drop coils. With coils you can really only get the alignment 100% again up to a 1.5" drop. At 2" you start to sacrafice a teeny bit of camber. And at anything more than 2" you're giving up camber for the drop.

I ordered the front pro coils and rear BT leafs. Clunk washers, alignment kit (which is better - NAPA or BellTech?), and Belltech shock extenders.

Should I get new bushings for the leaf springs? The energy part number is 4.2150. I'm going to cut down/get new rear bumpstops also. Do i need new bumpstops for the front?

If you're lowering the front more than an inch, then I would cut the oem stops or get shorter ones. My comments on leaf springs is in your other thread.
