Hurricane Performance has once again been so gracious to allow us to use their facililty for a GTG and we thank them very much. There is a large amount of room for parking all around the facility, they have an outside lift that can be used for anyone doing modding who needs to (first come first serve basis, but lets all share!!!), and a very knowledgle staff who is always willing to help out.

There will be tuner's onsite for anyone who wants to make dyno runs thanks to Tony (Tuners Inc) and Torrie (Unleashed Tuning & Fastpartsnetworks.com) I have requested information in regards to pricing and package deals and will post that info up as soon as I get it. Once this info is up, I need to create of list of who wants what (Dyno run only, Dyno run with tuning, Dyno run with tuning and programmer)

This GTG will be an all enclusive day of modding, dyno, hanging around, eating, drinking, and all around fun. So bring your tools and parts!!!!!

Anyone food or drink items that you would like to bring or pickup is welcome.

If anyone is local in the Jacksonville area and can bring a grill that would be fantastic.

I will also have a list posted here of food and drink when people start to respond.

Sean (SoFlaHarley) has graciously accepted the responsibilty of finding info on hotel rates and package deals for all out of town travlers who will be spending the night and organizing some sort of after event. This info will be posted here as soon as it is available.

The invite for this GTG will be on National Harley Truck Owners Club with thread links on Lightningrodder , Jacksonville Street Scene, National Horsepower, and Tallahassee Muscle Car Club...so we hope for a nice turnout of vehicles and people.

BTW you left the brackets at the shop.

FYI I swapped lowers and did 2 spring changes at the shop by my self last night. If your uppers are not rusted I could do yours very fast if you want to take it down before the meet. If you buy new uppers we could just swap those out and you would be covered if we damaged anything.

Of course I will be there if I can get the day off.

Although I think my truck might not be on the road at that point. Depends on how far I get and if I actually start removing things from the truck and take it off the road for a while. I really wish I could get it done and have Torrie tune it that day, but I think it is a little soon for me to have it all swapped over.

But If not in the truck we would be in the Mustang Might even have some mods to do on the Stang by then, LOL

BTW as far as hotels go. There are a few in the area or within a few miles. I know budgets are a big factor and people have different tastes as to where they like to stay. My decision on hotels are based on tripadvisor.com I read the reviews to see what they say and I make my choice from that. Safety, cleanliness and cost comes into play as well. With that said, I found several hotels within the 7-8 mile range of Hurricane Performance. These 3 have rates around $80 bucks a night. I priced the hotel for a 1 night stay (Saturday night)

There are other hotels as well whcih are more expensive. e.g. Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn etc...But some may be able to get special rates if they are members of those chains.

As far as night life goes, I'm at a handicap since I don't live in the area and not familiar with what's around. Trying to do an internet search for events going on that weekend didn't give me much. If some in that area have suggestions I'd be more than happy to listen to them. I'm sure food will be involved and since we may have spouses, girlfriends or kids attending, we'll have to base what we do on that too.
