    Spartan Diesel = POWER !

I have no idea what kind of times my truck would run. Pretty quick for a F-450 though. A few days after I bought my truck I was on the way from FL to TN on I-75 and moved from the right lane to the left to pass an 18 wheeler. Got on the throttle, hit 83mph and that was it! Not cool! This is my 7th diesel so I knew when I bought it I'd have to play with it. I spent $2500 on a Spartan programmer, an S&B intake, and a 4" straight exhaust with the DPF delete pipe and almost doubled the horsepower! I'm running the 275 program right now and will probably keep it there until I stud the heads. I'm hoping to get on the dyno in the near future. I'll post up the sheet as soon as I do. I've seen a few of the Spartan powered 6.4's getting in the 540-570 range so far!

Hey guys - I haven't had time to get to the dyno, but looking at some of the other trucks - I have seen them putting down anywhere from 1000 - 1150 on the dyno. Most of the dyno graphs I have seen have been on 250's with the Spartan tunes. I haven't seen any from a 450 yet. As soon as I get time I will be visiting the dyno to get some numbers. I have seen a couple of posts on the Spartan boards of 350's and 450's running in the mid to high 13's on diesel only (no nitrous). Spartan has a 250 putting down 567 RWHP on fuel only running 12.52@109 and 617 RWHP on nitrous. The 250 tune is running close to 500 RWHP and 1025 RWTQ - I am running the 275 tune. I love diesels!!!!!
