    Having Trouble Dropping Headliner

Alright guys, need some help. My sunroof is stuck in the back position because two mystery bolts rattled loose from the headliner via my sound system. I have the two identical bolts and planned on dropping headliner to find where they came from.

For the life of me, I cant figure out how the compass comes off, it seems like that is the only piece holding my headliner up. PLEASE ADVISE. Also if anyone knows the truck well enough to tell me where these bolts came from, it would save me a headache... THANKS BROTHERS

SUNROOF IS STUCK IN THIS POSITION:

    COMPASS I CANT GET DOWN:

Not sure how to pull the compass, but here are some links to getting it unstuck.
I guess if you do a search for compass it may have a link about how to get it off too.

The compass just pulls off. It doesn't fell like it... but it will come off.

It is held in with clips. I think I pulled down from the back.
Yes officer... I am aware of how fast I was going!

I thought that according to those links you wouldn't have to pull your headliner down and you could just use the allen key to close your sunroof?

Guess you probably still want to pull it down and put the other bolts you have back in though. good luck. Try what Stein says.

done! hope i never have to that again.

FYI anyone with bass, (the two mystery screws were the two out of three holding the sunroof motor up). If your headliner is dropped for any reason I would re thread lock those screws.

    Thanks again for the help!!
