Was it the PS21S Total Auto Wash?

Here's a pic and blurb from their site.

"Just look at these before and after shots..."

"...and application and rinse took place in under 3 minutes! it's also excellent for marine, lawn and garden equipment, snowmobiles, car and truck engines, etc."

If so, it did a good job.

maybe frozen was right....nobody can get it because they don't know how to click the links!

Simple green does work incredibly well, and vinylex dressing while its wet, then dried with a leaf blower, comes out looking better than brand new.

No matter what product you use, you still need to be extremely careful with what you get wet. Still best to cover up the COP area, the alternator, the battery, and the fuse box.

Interesting trick. Spray it on and blow dry it while it's wet. I'll give it a try.

yep vinylex is water based, so it will mix with the water and leave a nice low gloss factory brand new looking sheen on everything, and not a soppy wet look. And you don't want to use a silicon based product because then dirt and crap will stick to it.

Good stuff! Should probably take this to Detailing forum and/or carry as How-To sticky.
