    NHTOC Member - Who's HD

I'm after this drop but I don't know who the owner is - it's a pic I saved on my computer as "22s with 2 5" meaning it's a 2/5 drop. That's the stance I'm looking to achieve. Anyone know who this member is or more about the measurements to get this stance?

Yeah bro I know it's a 2/5 - just wondering what specifics he has on it. I have a 2/4 on my 03 but my front has more gap then his. So I'm either looking to talk with him or know what others who have this drop specifically did.

You can cut your stock coils half turn for an additional 1/2" Drop.

    or you can go with...

    2" Lower Control Arms
    2" Belltech Spindles

    ect...

Thanks bro but you're missing the point completely. I have 2" drop coils in the front. I know you can cut the a coil or remove the isolator nut.

That's why I'm asking for ground up measurements to know the specific height of the fender of people with this height.

I know I can do shackles or hangers or Sulastic springs and their lowering kit to get either 1.5" or 2.5" more of drop in the rear as well.

What's the point? Just lower it more if it's too high for you...

BTW, That is never2low2tone's truck. Good luck finding him... He hasn't logged on since 2004.

Thanks and this is what he says about a static drop:
"As far as the drop goes i have 2 inch hangers and jlp shakles in the rear and belltech spring in the front rides good still , i have 265/40/22 inch toyo tires ride great and hook up good as hell when i ran it at the track to be 22's"

Through other old posts, I found a link to his FTW site!

well what front drop do you have? Some kits rate them 2" for regular f-150's but then its actually only a 1" for a HD F-150

If he's running 22's, then they will fill the wheel well more

BT Pro Coils without the plastic spacer and the isolator nuts left on.

True and that's why I wanted to find what all he's done. A 285/35/22 is 0.2" taller than a 275/45/20. He's running a 265/40/22 which is about 0.5" taller than stock - but doesn't even cover the edge of the wheel
    and looks awful.

yeah but also figure that is split in half since its increase in height of overall diameter. So only half of that height difference makes the wheel well gap smaller.

If you've still got the rubber insulators in there just pull those out, it'll get you another 3/8" or so, then have it realigned.

Exactly, but I didn't want to type it all out!

I'm tempted to pull the isolators out. Here's where I'm standing. Goal: Make the truck level with minimum wheel gap. With 22's I'll likely do 285/35/22. So do I just C-notch the rear and do shackles? Or do I c-notch and do GMC SA-04 Sulastic springs with their lowering kit which will net me 1.5" more of drop in the rear. (Note: Using our F-150 SA-01 springs with their lowering kit will net 2.5" of rear drop).

what do you have now belltech leafs? You can add shackles, but you'll probably want a C-notch that far as you mentioned.

Personally though I say just do the staggered 22" setup. The 305/40/22's just look like they belong back there, they fill up the wheel well gap thats usually larger in the rear so then your wheel gap is even front & back, you don't need to c-notch, the ride improves from the larger sidewall, and traction improves with a bigger sidewall. To me the 285/35/22 tires just look too skinny on the rears. Like going to a boxing match wearing high heels. Show up in steel toe boots to a fight looks ilke you're ready to kick some azz. Show up in some tiny high heels looks like you're ready for the drag strip....and not the kind of drag strip you race at
