    it has begun!

#1227 is officially under the knife! just before i pulled her into the garage i took her out in front and did a nice burn out! she still lays it down for 6 3/4 cyls lol. i pulled the front end off and im going to drop the bumper off @ my body guy to get fixed. today i started the wrenching. i forgot how much a pain in the balls the whipple is to remove! now that thats outta the way its smoth sailing and i should have it ready to pull real soon!

this is also my official CALLING ALL J-HO'S thread.

i would have her ready to pull by sat, but i need to do some wrenching on the L to get it ready to run for the delvallo rental!

    About time Rich...

Isn't the next Saturday the rental?

About the J-HO call, I'm still warm after my engine install...let's do it!

P.S. - I think to pull the Whipple is 100X easier than the Heaton.

don't forget to yank the collector bolts before you "forget how hard that is to pull" too!

I'm busy this Saturday, and Sunday I may be swapping the exhaust on my truck, but I'm off Monday if you want to try and yank it then? Lemme know! Or heck even later in the day Sunday. I know its the 4th, but what better way to spend it than R&R'ing a motor, throw some food on the bbq, and wrench!

Sweet deal! And told you those collector bolts wouldn't be as much of a walk in the park as you thought. Your trucks been sitting rotting away for the past 9 months of neglect while you've fiddled with the L!

You gotta get this motor pulled, then come over and start pulling that playset apart. Do a few pieces at a time and it shouldn't take too long to get done lol. And by the time you're done that, then it'll be time to help me sheetrock the garage! haha

yeah wife has been bugging me about the swing set. hey i also got an idea about that shed you wanted to move. i have a friend locally who has a flat bed tow truck. he said he can do it, and the sides of the flat bed come off.

back on topic. i was getting tired last night so i didnt really fart around with the collector bolts too much. they arent nearly as bad as the L bolts were. i think im going to order up some arp ss bolts when i reinstall them. either that or do vband clamps!

yeah summers going to be over by the time you get it all apart and over to your place LoL!

And yeah if your buddy could flat bed the shed that would probably work! Its sitting on a base made of 4x4's, so I'm sure he could winch onto it somehow and just drag it right up onto the flatbed, then drop it off at my place. I'll give him some moola for transporting it for me, cheaper than buying a new shed! lol

Enough excuses with the collector bolts though! You were tired They're frozen solid on there ain't they? lol

nah ill get it in like maybe 2 weekends. besides she is only 2y/o and she will get plenty of use outta it.

i just have to give him a call. and see when he is available.

yeah those bolts are on there. sucks i really cant get a breaker bar or anything on it. i havent touched the truck since the last update. been busy with work and what not. we are open for dinners now so i usually get home around 10pm. that leaves my weekends to work on it.

do I get to say "told ya so" on the collector bolts yet? LoL! Ah I'll save it for in person

One of these days we'll make it out to your diner for some food
