Hi there, has anyone been able to find the wiring code for the `10 F150 HD amp?
I would like to improve on the amp and sub box (Sony). Any suggestions?

I cant help you on the wiring, but glad to see someone else out there wants to upgrade as well. One of the things I am least happy about with my new truck is the sad excuse of a subwoofer that they put in this truck. I have a pretty hefty background with audio applications and I gotta say, I'm surprised they even let these trucks out of the dealer sounding like this! Lol, that thing makes more weird sounds than actual bass... It's crazy.

I've got something pretty slick lined up for my sound system plans, but it might not become reality until this winter. I will post up pictures once I get the ball rolling.

Sounds great! I too have had a few years in the bass region and though that subwoofer maybe good for the untrained ear, it...........sucks. I am mullin over two shallow mount Sony 10" subs rated at 300Wrms and the slim Sony 500Wrms into 2ohm amp. Just the wiring diagram to that amp is holding me back.

I was told that there is a plug and play connector the i put on oreder yesterday PAC AOEM-FRD24. once it comes in ill keep yall updated

Like the new 2010's for looks...speeds another issue though!
Throwing a pdx1000 amp and a jl w7 would solve everything!
Ps.. 2010 owners need to throw a drop on them trucks and them looks will be better

Polyfil added to the sub enclosure costs less than 5 bucks and twenty minutes of your time. The Sony amp sub box is plastic with poor bass quality.did this to my 2011 platinum .a very cheap fix for now,considering what the stereo nav combo cost.

Hey guys, back again. Did anyone find out about the main harnes to the amp and sub and can we replace them useing the same harness? I would like to use a 5 channel amp,
replace the fronts with 61/2" mid bass and 4" mids and replace the sub mox for two shallow mounted 12" subs. I am really missing that bass and clarity.
