It came as a surprise. I really didn't expect to win anything there were a lot of excellent cars in the show.

It must have been the hat!

Looks nice! Mine still looks decent except for some scratches (I do haul stuff from time to time). They appear to be aluminum or stainless, it's pretty lightweight and the finish doesn't scratch off. I'd suggest waxing it as the polish likely removed any old worn out factory sealant that was on it.

I found the contact info for the metal polish.

All I know at this point is there are three products:
A "course" polish to take off the nasty real easy.
A "regular" metal polish to make it look pretty good.
A tiny tub of paste that makes it real bright & shiny.
The tiny tub is called: Finishing Polish
"To improve on an already polished metal surface using Micro-Diamond and Carnauba wax technology."

    The contact info is:

Josh, I may actually have a couple extra sets of those keepers that I got off of other extenders out of Rangers. I think they are all the same. I will check. If I got 'em, I will send em to you. PM me your address at your new house. I only have your old one in Swedesboro.
    PM sent!

    Follow up...

It's been two months since I rubbed the polished on the rails.
All the bad yellow and nasty that was on the rails is still gone!
They still look pretty darn good. Maybe not "quite" as shiny. (-10%)

The "Finishing Polish" gave it a bright shine when I was done.
That could be due to the fact it has Carnuba wax in it.

I'm thinking about using Zaino Z-2 sealant on it. I like the Z-2 shine.
I've never used Z-2 on metal. Anybody have any feedback on this?

At this point would I polish 'em again?...You bet! In a heartbeat!
They were in really bad shape and I am surprised and very happy.
This stuff worked for me. Just a little time and they are new again!

The three polishes from AAP did a great job for me.

I always use Z2 on metal pieces. It really makes the chrome pop on the truck, gives it that little edge over just stopping with regular polish.

Thanks, I have used Z-2 on chrome and it looks great. I just wasn't sure on the bed rail extenders.
