Nice, cant wait to see them installed and working.

MORE PICS! Can't give pics installed YET bc there still I'n the aiming stage. Getting them aligned and doing finishing touches!
Here is a couple pics with them getting aimed 50 ft. Away on a dark wooden fence! Notice how they wash the street lights out and the cutoff line how blue On the dark fence. Also, how sharp the cut-off is still at 50ft. `Away.....

what's all that white crap everywhere, are you a coke dealer?
Ive read someplace that Lexus sells just the projector part of their headlights and the price is actually reasonable, a lot of the folks that do the real HID conversions use them.
Im still happy with my "cheapo chinese junk" HIDs, Three years old and still work great!
That's typical though! As most are happy blinding ppl with regular hid upgrades I'n stock housing and blinding the chit out of ppl while showing stupidity by loosing half the hid capabilities!
As for cheap Chinese junk..... I went the better route bc I have the cash and along with bad luck between all the sets of ballast. going thru 3 I'n the Past 2 1/2 Years sux! Guess it's my driving or just my luck when they wasnt even cheap, costing me $150 each! the so say "lifetime warranty" is bs! Them companies make it so much drama to return and then when u do they refer to their harness messing up and putting ur ballast into safe mode. it voids the warranty bc the harness isn't included I'n the warranty
I'll post asap pics of them installed.... Give me another week between holidays/ work
It's a pita to focus and mount PROPERLY but u just have to have patience
Sounds easy but one hard point was mounting. Then u have to figure in wiring the solenoid to work as ur high beams!
I'm I'n love with quality retrofitting bc I mean what u expect.. Owning 2 electrical companies.. I love lighting/electrical I'n general
I can't stand it when ur coming down the road and see these kids with 12+K I'n their Headlites just Like Shiat. I use to have 8k only bc I thought it was I'n my liking but since I started being able to find the rite projectors and finding the rite cut off/colorline... 6700k PHILIPS is what I'm rockin. It's oem and u dont loose lumens versus aftermarket bulbs what so ever! You'll pay for them though! I paid $190 for these bulbs but they are d2s bulbs. u also have to get lucky getting them I'n the states bc there not sold here. Only I'n japan as oem
Next up!.... I'll be retrofitting my foglights with s2000 headlights!

Either s2000's or acura tsx with clear lenses and spacers for ever more color flicker. Be nice. The cars rite I'n front of me Gettin the "flicker and semi far away! Then the further u get away the more purple flicker with double the effect. MhuaaaMhuaaa! ! !

nooo not sayin your stupid bro....just in general SHOWING decision making but for most is the cheapest way to get better hid's
please dont take offense to that comment as im a nice guy, just things i say come out the wrong way....
sorry brotha!
I did this as well few months back... will post pics of the cut offs and installation. One thing I want to say to anyone who wants to install this is that if you don't get the right tools and HID kit with the projectors and shrouds it's not going to work. Make sure you measure twice and cut once. If you are off just a bit it would be impossible to align the cut offs. This was done over at f150online forums too with great details. http://www.f150online.com/forums/oth...upgrade-3.html
Thats soo hot, cant wait to get my hands on a kit. My main concern is fitting them in.
Its your truck so im stoked that you like it. Not for me but looks cool.
i have a buddy of mine @ TRS that sent me pics of your same retro STR.....that pic was my deciding factor on my shrouds that i went with....just wanted a different look than the BMW retro that everyone refers to them as
This is what I'm thinking of doin to my shrouds (this is a 2004 though)
I will lay REAL carbon fiber sheeting and you Appy with a heat gun to form the shape to give a custom look to my same setup. It be the same exact shroud as pictured above but I'n carbon fiber Mercedes e-55 AMG shroud
as for 4300k......too yellow for me! anything 8k and up is too blue.
retrfitting is awesome but in my opinion if you were to retro and not get good aim then might as well buy some aftermarket already assembled projector headlites. again, it takes a lot of patience fitting walkin back n forth, ect.... but then again, pays off
