    What's your opinion of Bedrug?

I'm thinking of getting a BedRug for the bed of my Shamu.
I'd like opinions and feedback from folks here that have it.

I like them and don't mind the added weight. Plan to get one in the future.

    Thumbs up

Mike, they are really a nice product, cut exactly to fit perfectly and killer looks to boot. I recommend them wholeheartledly. I also have the rubber Harley mat so stuff doesn't slide all over the place. Now I don't carry much of anything in the back of my truck except air so..........

Check this thread for my pics.

Get it, you'll like it. If you have a fiberglass bed cover it usually matches the gray carpet they use. I bought mine from Mike at Riverside and got the best price I could find, service was top knotch as usual. great mod! Finishes the bed off perfect and Ive hauled everthing in mine , rocks, grass sod, lumber, bricks, pavers, dirt, sand, concrete, tile ect and a trip to a high pressure car wash always makes it new again.

Absolutely a must have mod! I've had one in Hyde since 2003, and I put one in Jekyll as soon as I bought that truck in '09 and yanked out the plastic bedliner.

In Hyde I don't have the bedmat in there, but I've had my slicks and skinnies in there ever since i started racing, along with a jack and track equipment. Its held up great. In Jekyll I kept the rubber HD mat in there because I'm always using it for hauling materials back from home depot & lowes for the house, along with hauling engines and truck parts for all the recent L/HD projects I had going on. Its a nice non-slip surface for the bed. If you want to mount something on the bedrug and not have it slide around and not use the bedmat though, velcro strips will work great. You can velcro the bottom of a toolkit and stick it down and it'll never move on you.

If you use your truck for more dirty hauling duties, bedrug just came out with a new bed material. its called the bedtred. Its got the same durable finish as a spray-in liner on the surface instead of carpeting material, but the same soft foam molded material on the back side like the normal bedrug. A few Raptor guys have gotten this, and I think I'll join that boat once I get my raptor as well.

    Ordered...looking forward to the install.

Last year I tried to decide between Dynamat the interior or Lloyd LUX HD embroidered floor mats.
I went with the floor mats...because nothing says Christmas like a forty pound box of tar.

    Well I did it!

Took a little more time than expected. They say it should take 30 minutes to an hour. It took me a couple of hours.
I had a plastic FoMoCo bed liner I had to remove first. I finally cut it out from the tonneau cover clamps with a razor knife.
Luckily, I was able to remove the plastic Ford dealer bed liner without having to remove the tonneau cover.

Then I cleaned the bed real good before I began the BedRug installation.
Afterwards I had to take the BedRug off and put it back in a few times to get it to line up just right.

Well here's a finished project pic! It looks and feels real nice. I'm very happy with the results.

Sorry 'bout the glare! It was 74 degrees and a bright and sunny day. For you folks in the frozen north...eat your heart out!
