    Laugh Carrying

Seems a guy cruises thru a stop sign, or whatever, and gets pulled over by a local policeman.
Guy hands the cop his driver's license, insurance verification, plus his concealed carry permit.

"Okay, Mr. Smith," the cop says, "I see your CCW permit. Are you carrying today?"

    "Yes, I am."

"Well then, better tell me what you have."

Smith says, "Well, I've got a .357 revolver in my inside coat pocket. There's a 9mm semi-auto in the glove box.
And, I've got a .22 magnum derringer in my right boot."

"Okay," the cop says. "Anything else?"

"Yeah, back in the trunk, there's an AR15 and a shotgun. That's about it."

"Mr. Smith, are you on your way to or from a gun range...?"

    "Nope."

"Well then, what are you afraid of...?"

    "Not a damn thing..."

Aren't firearms illeagle on the Cayman Islands? When I was there,(and the was in 1999) I was told that they were by one of the locals in Boddentown. He was telling me if you could get a Glock down there, you could get a couple grand for it. I don't know why, you couldn't get ammo for it......

Only criminals get to have guns with gun control laws.

Yeah, you have to have a permit to have a gun down here. But, there are quite a lot of black market guns floating around. I imagine the criminals do pay thousands for them just to get them. I read where someone got arrested for trying to sneak them through customs here inside of a refridgerator. I hear a lot come in via the 'fishing boats' that visit to top up their essential supplies or sell fish too.

My wife won't let me have a gun in the house, so I got myself a machette at Harbor Freight. It's going to take a little longer and be a lot messier, but I figure I can still defend myself if necessary.

If that fails, ALL of my neighbors have quite the arsenal. All I have to do is hit my panic button on the truck alarm and I'll have a small army coming over.

Of course, they also like to drink a bit so not sure I'd want them shooting towards the house in the dark from both sides
