Sounds more like a bad cop or a vacuum leak.
Yes officer... I am aware of how fast I was going!
Ok so i need to look for some good coils to replace the stock ones anyone have any suggestions on what coils. I was thinking maybe going with the MSD one's well i really appreciate the help will let yall know if the problem is fixed after replacing the coils.
Stock COP's are the best thing for your truck until you start pressing beyond 450HP.
aftermarket coils don't seal well against keeping water off the plugs, go with stock.
Unplug one COP at a time. If you don't notice any change in idle you found your bad COP, and only have to buy one if you can't swing an entire new set of OEM's.
Well i decided to go with the MSD just to try them out the should be here monday i order them today. Don't know if i got a good deal i got them for 339 on LFP all eight but will post more as soon as i put them on to see the results.
[QUOTE=steinjr;559937]I have recently switched back to stock cops. Tired of the moisture issues with Weapon X.
X2 goiong back to stockers when I put on my MP blower
guys have tried them out, and the general consensus is junk. Some haven't had issues with them, but many had, and they'll creep up when you least want them to I'd cancel the order now if you can. For $339 you could probably get a full set of OEM coil packs, or for not very much more get OEM's and KNOW you have good quality to last another 7-10 years.
So finally got the coils fixing to put them will post as soon as i see the results.
Sorry here the pics hopefully first time trying to post pics.
still not too late to return them for OEM's! The msd look purdy in the box, but their quality is hit and miss! OEM is a SURE thing!
