305-40-22s all the way around with no front drop other than a stock spring that was driven on too long with a bad shock. When i hit bumps I get a little rub on the drivers side. 2" drop shackles in the rear but looking to get JLP 3" drops soon and maybe remove the front isolators after I replace the springs or get drop springs...hmmm?

Daygo, love the chrome 335's. Mine used to be black centers with chrome rims but after I got rid of my black HD I decided to color match them. Less to polish now!

Theyre aren't too bad. I had 2 KDWs and 2 265/35/22s in Kooks shipped to my door, taxes, bokerage, duty fees all in for 900 even.
    The KDWs are about 230/piece.

OP, the 305/40/22s are about 31 - 3/4" tall overall with a sidewall height of 4-3/4".
    The 285/35/22 are about 29 - 3/4" tall with a sidewall height just a hair below 4", more like 3 - 7/8"

Was the rub you get on the driver side due to the bad shock or are the tires too big for the truck? I think the tire you have is what I'm looking for with the 22s. I'd love to see a photo of your rims/tires to get a better feeling to see if that's the look I'm after.

Well I run 22's with staggered 285/35's front and 305/40's rear. Have 2" drop coils w/stock isolators installed up front. The center wheel to bottom of front flares is 15.5”. I do have to take care to slow down considerably when turning (mostly to the left) onto roadways or into driveways that have a nice dip or steep incline. During normal straight ahead driving on bumpy or uneven surfaces I usually don’t have any rubbing. The rear 305/40’s are 1.75” higher and at least ¾” wider than the fronts, so to get that size to work up front for me would require more modifications to the flares and inner liners than I’m willing to make.

My L has 2" drop spindles and 1" drop coils with approx 3.5-4" drop in the rear.

I was worried about my front tires rubbing with the 22s as I am also removing the 1/2" isolator to go even lower up front.

I solved the possible issue as I purchased 265/35/22 for the front and 285/35/22 for the rear.
The difference looks wise is minimal as the sidewall height on the 265s is only 1/4" less than the 285s BUT the tire width is just over 1" thinner therefore no rubbing the fenders.

I'd love to see side photos of your trucks with the 285/35/22s and 305/40/22s to get a good comparison of what the tires look like on the rims. Please post pix if you have them.

Also, OP, what size tires are those on your truck in the photos?

I seem to be having technical difficulties but if you search Monochrome DSG the pics that you asked for are there.

Yes, due to driving on a weak shock my spring seems to have lost some of its rebound and that allows a little rubbing as i hit larger bumps. The tire due rub on the frame rail and front stabilizer bar when turninglock to lock but it is not a problem. Maybe you can see this link...

Not smoked but black housings. They were the cheapest I could find on ebay. In fact, I bought the corners from one seller and the heads from another and it was cheaper than buying one set. I saw some on there today for about $130 if I remember correctly. BTW I no longer have them. I now have King Ranch OEM heads and they dont have reflectors at the bottom. I am gonna try some customization with them and my Lightning tails. More to come...

Thank you both for the photos. I think I like how the 305 fits on the rim and looks from the side on the truck better than the 285. 03_HD_F150SC gave me the exact look I want, since the 22" replicas are what I'm after. So it appears that I can run the 305 front and back as long as I keep the front stock height and only lower the rear enough to make it even with the front?
