hey Kaoss, the reason you're having problems posting is because the site requires something like 5 or 10 posts before you can post images, etc. You're at 4, I think if you have 1 more post you'll be able to post images and not get that moderator approval message.

Yupp, that's it! There will be a ton of posts from me if they ever do get approved.

So the emblem doesn't appear to be an insert. I'll be more than happy to send it to some one in exchange for a Ford emblem.

Yes, the Datsun has an l20b in it.

Got those ugly window vents removed. Took about 5 hours total to get all signs of the adhesive off. I hate glue on accessories! Today I'll be installing my new kicker speakers in the door.

^have to beg to differ on that one. Ventvisors are one of the first mods I did to both my trucks! Cleans up the lines with less dull rubber visible around the window, allow you to keep the windows cracked in the summer or rain. And if you're going to hate on a mod just because its held on with 3M tape, well hate to break it to ya but you better start yanking off your fender emblems because they are "glue on accessories" too then

i have to agree with not having vent visors. i really hate how they look.
they do serve a purpose if you drive in the rain though, especially if you smoke in the truck.

Don't have the windows cracked in the rain, and I don't smoke. I'm going to try that restore stuff for the dull trim.

I'd loose the emblems in a heart beat if there wasn't holes in the fenders behind them! I've debadged every vehicle I've ever owned, exept the Fords.

I did get my speakers in over the weekend. Now I need a dash kit to put my premier deck in it. That'll have to wait until I get an oil seperator in it, tired of seeing oil come out of the bottom of the intake tube!

Did a hardware store seperator in it for now, and bought a fuel filter, but it's been too cold and snowy to lay on the floor to change it.

Few more items on my list:

    1. Get a Ford Emblem!
    2. Clean the intercooler
    3. Change spark plugs
    4. Get an owners manual
    5. Figure out what is wrong with the electric sliding rear window. The switch lights up, all of the fuses in the truck are good, but there may be one missing. Any one have the fuse diagram or any advice?
    6. Change tranny fluid
    7. Change rear end fluid
    8. Install after market deck
    9. Clay bar and polish
    10. New fog lights
    11. Front bumper has a dent and lower valance is a little damamged. Body shop gave me a hell of a quote to get it fixed, unless it hails on it, then it's going to the body shop.
    12. A little PDR, unless it hails on it, then it's going to the body shop.

Barbed Fittings, elbow fitting, a cheap oil seperator, a little fuel line and some ugly hose clamps. The entire thing is ugly actually, but it works. If you can blow air into the seperator from the bottom, it won't work. I acutally had to glue mine shut. I'll try to post a pic.

Do you have a local Parker fitting store? I bet you could drive your truck up there and they could help you out. Look for a place that does hydrolic line and is an authorized Parker store. I would have gone to mine myself, but it was a saturday and they were closed.

    Thumbs up

Good that you were able to get something on there to try and catch the oil temporarily before it gets to the intercooler, but....... I give it less than 6 months before it stops working. You'll notice less and less oil collecting in it as the months go by. Maybe you'll get lucky but that has been the course for the majority of us.

Start saving now for an L&S oil separator that actually is a "set it and forget it" mod.

Yeah. It's just tough for me to drop $180 on it when it needs so much other maintenance items, not to mention the amount of stuff my other truck needs. I may try an SMC oil separator if this one craps out on me.
