What do you wax/seal your truck with?

What wax or sealant do you use?
(sorry I messed up the thread name)

What final LSP (Last Step Product) do you like?

Is it a wax or sealant?

    Zaino, Mothers, Pinnacle etc.?

What finish products you have had good results with?

    Adam's Polishes

I own about everything they make, but a typical exterior detail goes as follows:

Wash truck using 2 bucket/grit guart method with wool mit

dry truck off using white waffle weave towel and blaster sidekick motorcycle dryer for the cracks and hard to reach places

clay bar using detail spray as a lubricant

Bust out the Porter Cable 7424 and go over the truck with swirl remover (or severe swirl remover depending on how bad it is)

Go over truck again with Revive Polish

Go over again with Machine Super Wax (sealant wax)

Clean windows, hit all plastics, tires etc. with VRT (vinyl, rubber, tire dressing)

Give truck a couple days, to let sealant wax cure fully

Wipe her down with a microfiber towel and detail spray to clean her up again

than apply (by hand) Americana carnuba paste wax

Remove wax, and enjoy the shine!

My first post didn't appear to post. I received a Internet Explorer or forum error and then a blank screen.
I'm not sure what happened, if it was IE, VB or my ISP so I clicked the back button and did it again.
Then I had two posts of the same thing??? (ARGH)

I wanted to do two posts one wash, one wax. So I changed the post content on the second post.
I tried but was unable to change the Title summary line.

    Sorry 'bout the confusion.

BTW - I have not tried Adam's products. Glad to hear you get great results.
Your truck looks VERY shiny!!! Great job! I like shiny. I will have to try 'em out.

I use mostly chemical guys products, I really like their 'extreme depth wax + X-seal'
applied with a red hand applicator for my final step.

I do use mag. 105 for paint correction, with lake country? pads on my DA.

I ordered a set of surbuf pads recently, need to pull the luggage rack off the wifes convertible and buff out the trunk with that to give it a good test.

I haven't done a full process on my harley yet, but the last car I detailed was my fobra, that chemical guys stuff really holds up well as I did a 5 step on it a good 2 months ago and we've had a lot of rain!

(day of detail process, 2 months ago)

    (last weekend)

The Surbuf pads with Meg/105 is mildly aggressive.
Should get out the swirls fairly quick. Keep the pads clean and mist surface with water while polishing with Meg/105.
