2004 to 2008 Front End upgrade

    Hello everyone!

I have an F-250 ,2004 Harley davidson. Well, there's this friend of mine that is selling the front end of a 2008 harley davidson. I wanted to know if anyone has attempted to do the upgrade on these trucks. Looking for suggestions as to upgrading mine. i dont' know if it can be done so that's why i am asking.

    thanks for all your help.

    Harley Dude.

Yes, it can be done. The fenders, hood, grille, and bumper all need to be replaced. I'm not sure about the core support. One of these days, I want to do this to my truck.

The entire rad support is different as are the rads and how they fit the support and tie in with the front sheet metal. The fact the grill goes up with the hood on the 08 vs a fixed chassis mounted grill on the 07 down makes it a major rework. You could put a corvette front end on it if you tried hard enough. Big job, post pics if you attempt it.

Some one on FTE just put an 08 F-250 front end on an 02 Excursion. So it can be done as long as you have the needed parts. Doesn't look like you have to modify anything just have to replace the correct parts. Thought about doing it to our Excursion some day.
Edit: Link to the tread on FTE. http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/10...-frontend.html
